Responsibilities
- Build and improve SoundHound’s automotive Voice AI product, particularly support for new languages.
- Collaborate with automakers to integrate SoundHound Voice AI into vehicles and serve as their primary technical contact.
- Investigate, reproduce, troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate partner issues using relevant tools and detailed analysis.
- Translate partner and business needs into technical specifications and implement short- and long-term solutions.
- Provide technical guidance on ASR language development, wake words, audio processing pipelines, cloud domains, and infrastructure issues.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Product, and Technical Program Management teams on system improvements, feature requests, and customer needs.
- Manage project plans, partner milestones, internal timelines, risks, documentation, scope, schedules, and deployment.
- Write detailed tickets and actionable feedback while contributing to product and platform refinement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or technical program management.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Linux, Python, and C++.
- Knowledge of ASR and AI technologies.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and cross-cultural teams and manage complex projects in an international environment.
- Strong communication, prioritization, troubleshooting, partner-engagement, and technical documentation skills.
