Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to support cloud opportunities and drive customer success through Akamai Cloud adoption and technical execution.
- Embed with strategic customers to translate requirements into production-ready architectures, prototypes, integrations, and solutions.
- Analyze application components and design scalable service-oriented architectures, APIs, and web services.
- Architect and deploy high-performance AI/ML infrastructure, optimize GPU workloads, and integrate scalable inference platforms.
- Provide hands-on engineering across discovery, proof of concept, implementation, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production readiness.
- Partner with Akamai cloud compute, security, delivery technology, Product, and Engineering teams on complex enterprise workloads.
Requirements
- Travel frequently to customer locations, with regular onsite embedding as a core requirement.
- Have 6+ years of experience with cloud-based applications, including architecture, implementation, engineering, and strategy within large-scale systems.
- Demonstrate expertise in technical cloud roles and public cloud environments with customer-focused responsibilities.
- Have experience with IaaS architectures involving AWS, GCP, Azure, and Kubernetes.
- Communicate technical concepts, architecture decisions, tradeoffs, and outcomes effectively to technical and executive audiences.
- Thrive in collaborative, embedded customer environments and serve as an extension of the customer's technical team.
