Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, operate, and improve Azure-focused cloud platform services with AWS and GCP integrations.
  • Lead complex platform programs across compute, networking, identity, storage, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop reusable infrastructure-as-code modules and automation frameworks using ARM/Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, Python, and Azure CLI/SDK tooling.
  • Improve cloud configurations, deployment pipelines, observability, monitoring, self-healing capabilities, incident response, and root-cause remediation.
  • Implement Azure, AWS, and GCP governance, policy, identity, and security controls aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Support cloud migration, workload onboarding, tenant integration, hybrid connectivity, and modernization initiatives.
  • Mentor Level 2 engineers through technical coaching, design reviews, and operational guidance.
  • Maintain technical documentation, reference implementations, and operational runbooks.

Requirements

  • 5–9 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering within enterprise environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and operating Microsoft Azure in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code using ARM/Bicep, Terraform, or equivalent frameworks.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Azure networking architectures, including VNets, routing, DNS, hybrid connectivity, and distributed system design.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Azure identity and access management, including Entra ID, role-based access control, multi-tenant configurations, and policy enforcement.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, Python, and cloud provider CLI/SDK tools.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms for automated cloud deployments.
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems in cloud environments.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP in distributed cloud systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting cloud migrations and integrating on-premises or multi-tenant environments into Azure.
  • Knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity practices, risk management, and incident response methodologies.
  • Ability to operate independently, lead complex technical efforts, influence partners, and mentor engineers.
  • Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400 are strongly preferred; AWS and GCP certifications are also valued.
