Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AWS and OCI infrastructure and managed services.
- Operate Kubernetes technologies, including AWS EKS and OCI OKE, and policy engines such as Kyverno.
- Manage golden images for host operating systems and containers.
- Maintain AWS Organizations, service control policies, IAM foundations, and cloud security controls.
- Troubleshoot, tune, administer, and patch Linux operating systems.
- Develop infrastructure automation using Python, shell, CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS event-driven automation.
- Conduct technology evaluations and proof-of-concepts to support business objectives and innovation.
- Perform deployments and upgrades, create technical documentation, and support compute and storage administration.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and support staff to ensure reliable service delivery.
- Perform other assigned duties and comply with organizational policies and standards.
Requirements
- Typically 8+ years of experience using the required skills and qualifications.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent education and related work experience.
- Strong proficiency in container technologies including Kubernetes, EKS, and Nirmata.
- Strong proficiency with AWS services including VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, MSK, EMR, SageMaker, MWAA, RDS, and ElastiCache.
- Experience with OCI, AWS EKS, OCI OKE, Kyverno, AWS Organizations, service control policies, and IAM.
- Strong Linux operating system administration, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning skills, including Red Hat/CentOS and Satellite.
- Experience with Puppet and Ansible configuration management tools.
- Strong background in VMware and OpenStack/MCP hypervisor technologies.
- Strong coding skills using YAML/JSON, Python, shell, CDK, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
- Experience with GitHub, Stash, Artifactory, Confluence/Jira, and related technologies.
- Experience with information security principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience with change-management controls and SOX, HIPAA, and PII audit compliance.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
