Base Salary
$170k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and execute rigorous system performance benchmarks to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
- Develop and implement low-level optimizations within the Linux kernel.
- Write and maintain high-performance infrastructure code using Go, C, C++, or Rust.
- Tune data-plane performance for cloud architecture supporting modern AI workloads.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and improve infrastructure reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with software infrastructure, product, and other engineering teams on performance initiatives.
- Document technical practices and share knowledge across the team.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Linux system internals and kernel-level programming.
- Expert-level proficiency in Go, C, and C++; Rust experience is an asset.
- Proven hands-on experience with performance tuning, benchmarking, and optimization in complex environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience or exposure to the artificial intelligence and cloud ecosystem and standard industry tooling.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Preferred experience includes high-scale cloud or infrastructure engineering, performance-critical infrastructure components, and low-level performance analysis and tracing tools.
