Responsibilities
- Develop secure, scalable, high-quality software solutions from technical requirements and design artifacts.
- Program, test, implement, document, maintain, and support application software.
- Design and develop automated API and UI tests for system interfaces and complete software solutions.
- Implement test strategies, frameworks, tools, reports, and CI/CD quality gates.
- Refactor and expand complex automation efforts while validating application functionality.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet due dates, identify emerging issues, and recommend solutions.
- Support collection and reporting of project and software metrics.
- Follow Mastercard software development, quality assurance, quality control, security, and documentation practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, information technology, computer science, or engineering.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience developing scalable, multithreaded software products.
- Hands-on experience with Angular, core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Hibernate/JPA, Maven or Gradle, PL/SQL, Unix/Shell scripts, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- Strong experience working with SOAP and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of cloud-native development using Pivotal Cloud Foundry and AWS.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Working knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, REST Assured, TestNG, and Postman.
- Understanding of Java and microservices design patterns and standard programming practices.
- Experience building scalable, maintainable applications and working with cross-functional teams in collaborative environments.
- Ability to innovate, solve complex design problems, learn and deploy new technologies, make independent decisions, communicate effectively, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Agile methodology.
