Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate cloud-based solutions and scalable enterprise platforms for clients.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code and automate complex cloud solutions.
- Design and implement Kubernetes containerisation and orchestration solutions.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar tools.
- Build robust monitoring, advanced alerting, log aggregation, and observability solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, ELK, and EFK.
- Contribute to disaster recovery, high availability, multi-cloud, hybrid-cloud, and cloud cost-optimisation solutions.
Requirements
- Effective communication, collaboration, planning, organisation, reporting, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel within the UK for projects.
- Right to work in the UK and ability to achieve UK Security Clearance.
- Understanding of identity and access management, cloud networking, and cloud security best practices in Azure or AWS.
- Experience implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code in enterprise environments.
- Experience with Kubernetes containerisation and orchestration.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar tools.
- Ability to automate complex solutions using scripting or programming languages.
- Experience designing monitoring and advanced alerting solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor, plus ELK or EFK-based log aggregation and observability.
- Desirable experience with disaster recovery, high availability, multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures, and cloud cost optimisation.
- Relevant Azure or AWS certifications, such as AZ-104, AZ-400, AWS Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS SysOps Administrator – Associate, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator, are desirable.
