Responsibilities

Implement and support improvements that increase efficiency, software quality, and delivery speed.
Collaborate with Development, QA, IT Operations, InfoSec, and UCD teams using DevOps best practices.
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support AWS infrastructure.
Use Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm for infrastructure and containerized environments.
Write Python automation scripts and support database schema change management using tools such as Liquibase.
Use monitoring tools to support system reliability and performance.
Translate stakeholder and business requirements into technical implementations.
Act as a business subject-matter expert and manage, negotiate with, and influence stakeholders.

At least 5 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer.
Strong knowledge of AWS and CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm.
Experience with multiple database ecosystems, architecture, and integration.
Experience with monitoring tools for system reliability and performance.
Experience with database schema change management, such as Liquibase.
Ability to write automation scripts in Python.
Knowledge of GitOps principles.
Willingness to travel.
Right to work in the UK.
Ability to attain UK Security Clearance.
Knowledge of Java and Spring is beneficial.
Experience working within the public sector or central government is beneficial.
