Responsibilities

Implement and support improvements that increase efficiency, software quality, and delivery speed.
Apply DevOps practices across development, QA, IT operations, InfoSec, and user-centered design teams.
Use DevOps tooling, containers, and containerization to support delivery and operations.
Translate stakeholder and business requirements into technical implementations.
Act as a business subject matter expert and help align DevOps services with business needs.
Negotiate with and influence stakeholders to ensure services run effectively and effort is appropriately prioritized.
Support database schema change management, monitoring, system reliability, and performance.

At least 5 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer.
Strong knowledge of AWS and experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm.
Experience with Java.
Experience with multiple database ecosystems, architecture, and integration.
Experience with monitoring tools supporting system reliability and performance.
Experience with schema change management, such as Liquibase.
Knowledge of GitOps principles.
Willingness to travel.
Right to work in the UK.
Ability to attain UK Security Clearance.
Experience in the public sector or central government is beneficial.
