Responsibilities
- Verify and integrate 4G/5G physical-layer firmware.
- Execute and support modem system test plans and feature release planning for functional and performance scenarios.
- Use 4G/5G signaling and physical-layer test equipment and their automation interfaces.
- Diagnose complex issues and collaborate with development and design teams to resolve them.
- Collaborate with component validation, integration, protocol test, firmware development, and system engineering teams.
- Apply automation tools and scripting to support testing and system verification.
Requirements
- Expertise in 4G/5G 3GPP physical-layer and protocol-stack procedures and configurations.
- Experience with modem system test plans and feature release planning for 4G/5G functional and performance scenarios.
- Understanding of 4G/5G signaling and physical-layer test equipment, including automation interfaces.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Some proficiency with source code control tools.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field, paired with some industry experience through internships or full-time work.
- Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new architectures and frameworks.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools and techniques for test optimization, data analysis, or complex system verification is beneficial.
- Experience with network emulators, silicon prototyping, emulation systems, or virtual platforms is a plus.
- Proficiency with automation tools and Python, C/C++, or Java is beneficial.
