Responsibilities
- Support application systems through incident management, troubleshooting, debugging, and resolution of business-impacting issues.
- Apply standards and best practices to improve operational efficiency, system stability, and availability.
- Deliver bug fixes and enhancements to existing codebases while maintaining software quality.
- Use logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms to identify incidents and their root causes.
- Create meaningful reports and key performance indicators for operational visibility.
- Contribute to client solution delivery and participate in collaborative, value-driven teams.
- Participate in a need-based 24x7 support rotation and manage multiple engagements.
Requirements
- Experience with Java and TypeScript.
- Understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Experience with Python or PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with relational or non-relational databases.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure Pipelines.
- Exposure to application monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Ability to use debugging tools, troubleshoot code, and deliver well-tested fixes and enhancements.
- Strong English communication skills and confidence discussing issues with senior stakeholders.
- Willingness to share expertise through speaking engagements, open source, blogs, or similar activities.
- Ability to handle ambiguity, approach challenges from multiple perspectives, and work in a 24x7 rotation.
