Responsibilities
- Manage designated technology application portfolios, including configuration, maintenance, monitoring, reengineering, enhancements, and upgrades.
- Provide analysis, architectural design, and leadership for software projects of varying complexity.
- Work within and help manage IT processes and the internal software development life cycle methodology.
- Coordinate between technical and business departments to ensure requirements and targets are met.
- Provide application management and administration, peer guidance, and knowledge transfer.
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation supporting break/fix ticket resolution.
- For Level II, lead tasks or projects related to medium and large software implementations and work with substantial independent judgment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or equivalent experience and training.
- Level I requires up to 3 years of successful full-stack development with C#/ASP.NET or equivalent UI development and SQL Server experience.
- Level II requires 3 to 7 years of successful full-stack development with C#/ASP.NET or equivalent UI development and SQL Server experience.
- Level II requires proven experience leading tasks or projects related to medium to large software implementations.
- Preferred experience includes developing or administering LIMS such as STARLiMS and Outreach, specimen management systems, and laboratory instrument interfaces.
- Working knowledge of the HL7 standard and coding is preferred; knowledge of testing laboratory operations and processes and Corepoint is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, time-management, confidentiality, teamwork, flexibility, and customer-service skills are required.
- High proficiency with PC-based software programs is required.
