Responsibilities
- Manage a designated technology application portfolio through configuration, maintenance, monitoring, reengineering, enhancements, and upgrades.
- Develop and administer full-stack applications using C#/ASP.NET, Angular or equivalent UI technologies, and SQL Server.
- Provide analysis, architectural design, and leadership for projects of varying complexity.
- Serve as a liaison between technical and business departments to ensure requirements and project targets are met.
- Lead tasks or projects related to medium- and large-size software implementations at Level II.
- Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to peers in areas of expertise.
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for break/fix ticket resolution.
- Apply and support defined IT processes and the company’s software development life cycle methodology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or equivalent experience and training.
- Level I requires up to three years of successful full-stack development with C#/ASP.NET or equivalent UI development and SQL Server.
- Level II requires three to seven years of successful full-stack development with C#/ASP.NET or equivalent UI development and SQL Server.
- Level II candidates must have experience applying software development life cycle methodologies and leading tasks or projects for medium- to large-size software implementations.
- Preferred experience includes developing and administering Laboratory Information Management Systems such as STARLiMS and Outreach.
- Preferred experience includes specimen management systems and laboratory instrument interfaces connecting instruments to LIMS.
- Working knowledge of the HL7 standard and coding is preferred.
- Knowledge of testing laboratory operations and processes and Corepoint is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, and customer-service skills are required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage multiple priorities, learn new technologies, and work effectively with people at all organizational levels.
