Responsibilities
- Build and extend cloud-based capabilities for the mission-critical Emergency Call Handling platform.
- Automate infrastructure and application deployments using container orchestration, configuration management, and CI/CD tools.
- Support end-to-end software development, delivery, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and debugging in a 24/7 support model.
- Operate highly available systems and address Linux, networking, performance, backup, and disaster recovery concerns.
- Collaborate with distributed teams working across different time zones.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a DevOps or related role.
- Experience with Linux operating systems, preferably RHEL, and virtualization technologies such as OpenShift, Proxmox, VMware ESXi, or KVM.
- Experience with Kubernetes, infrastructure and application deployment automation, and CI/CD tools including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in a scripting language such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
- Hands-on experience with the listed technologies and fluent English for collaboration across time zones.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of PostgreSQL or MS SQL, RabbitMQ, AWS, Azure or GCP, Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Spring Boot, Angular, Wireshark, networking protocols, systems management, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, analytical, independent-working, learning, and attention-to-detail skills.
