Responsibilities
- Extend capabilities and enhance technologies for a mission-critical emergency call-handling platform.
- Design, implement, test, deliver, and maintain software in an end-to-end development model.
- Build and support cloud-based, highly available systems with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms.
- Develop Java-based services and work with microservices, REST APIs, messaging, and communications protocols.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, monitoring, observability, and automated testing.
- Participate in a 24/7 support model and communicate effectively with peers and customers in North America.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of practical experience with modern DevOps tooling, including CI/CD pipelines.
- At least 1 year of Java experience.
- Practical knowledge of microservices and REST APIs.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS, Azure, or private cloud environments.
- Practical knowledge of Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Experience with automated testing, observability, and monitoring.
- Understanding of HTTP and REST protocols.
- English skills sufficient for efficient communication with peers and customers in North America.
- Preferred experience includes RabbitMQ or AMQ, Kafka, GStreamer, networking, SIP, RTP, WebRTC, or MSRP.
