Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Java EE, and Spring.
  • Develop REST web services and integrations with internal and external systems.
  • Write and maintain automated unit and integration tests.
  • Build and improve continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Manage source code, conduct code reviews, and promote clean-code practices.
  • Investigate application issues and support resolution of test and production incidents.
  • Develop and support SAS code and ETL processes for data transformation and integration.
  • Develop and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards, applications, reports, and data models.
  • Create and support Qlik NPrinting reports and automated report distribution processes.
  • Design and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models for applications, ETL workflows, and reporting solutions.
  • Contribute to architecture, modernization, automation, and technical-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional software development experience using Java and Java EE.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring and Hibernate or another ORM persistence framework.
  • Experience developing REST web services and enterprise application integrations.
  • Knowledge of application containers such as Apache Tomcat.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift.
  • Experience with unit testing, continuous integration, refactoring, and clean-code practices.
  • Familiarity with Git, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle, including SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and data modeling.
  • Interest in developing SAS programming and ETL expertise.
  • Interest in Qlik Sense, Qlik NPrinting, or other business intelligence and reporting platforms.
  • Nice-to-have experience with Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, JavaScript, Apache Kafka, and related frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Visual Basic macros or other automation tools.
