Responsibilities
- Assist with developing and maintaining backend features for service logic, API development, and data processing.
- Develop backend services using Java, Node.js, or Python.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate backend services with user-facing interfaces.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and testing activities.
- Monitor system performance and help resolve backend technical issues under senior engineer guidance.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor.
- Collaborate with team members across the full software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- 0–3 years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent internship/project experience.
- Foundational knowledge of backend development and server-side architecture.
- Ability and willingness to learn backend technologies quickly in a collaborative environment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and commitment to reliable, scalable code.
- Preferred: familiarity with Java, Node.js, or Python; exposure to Spring, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Kafka, Git, and production debugging in distributed systems.
