Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test software features across video streaming services and multimedia pipelines.
- Work with RTSP, RTP, WebRTC, and GStreamer to deliver live and recorded video reliably.
- Investigate and resolve streaming issues involving connectivity, NAT traversal, latency, and stream quality.
- Improve existing products, analyze requirements, and research and integrate new technologies.
- Own projects through successful completion and collaborate with Quality Assurance on deployment test plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar engineering program with strong academic performance.
- 0+ years of experience; coursework, internships, or personal projects may demonstrate programming skills.
- Solid programming skills in C or C++.
- Understanding of TCP/UDP, sockets, and basic NAT traversal.
- Exposure to RTSP, RTP, WebRTC, ICE/TURN, GStreamer, or FFmpeg.
- Strong English communication skills, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and experience working in teams.
- Preferred: experience with C#/.NET, familiarity with Linux development environments, and exposure to H.264/H.265 codecs and RTP payload formats.
