Responsibilities
- Define the technical vision and architecture for networking infrastructure.
- Design large-scale connectivity platforms for Databricks’ control and compute planes.
- Enhance the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of compute infrastructure.
- Lead complex cross-team initiatives and mentor senior engineers.
- Collaborate with product management and partner engineering teams.
Requirements
- 15+ years of production-level experience in Rust, Java, Scala, C++, or similar languages.
- 10+ years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch.
- Experience with SaaS platforms or Service-Oriented Architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud networking, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
