Responsibilities
- Drive the efficiency, reliability, scalability, availability, security, latency, performance, monitoring, emergency response, change management, and capacity planning of IFS Cloud services.
- Lead and coordinate event, incident, case, problem, and service-request management activities.
- Triage, resolve, escalate, and own technical issues through closure while communicating proactively with resolver groups and customers.
- Perform application installation, configuration, administration, cloud-platform tasks, container administration, and infrastructure support.
- Create and maintain knowledge articles and standard operating procedures, and follow established SOPs, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Participate in mentoring, coaching, training, and continuous improvement of operational processes.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of IFS products, architecture, industry solutions, product versions, support policies, and support scope.
- Ability to independently resolve medium-complexity issues and handle standard technical tasks with some supervision or occasional guidance.
- Working knowledge of Azure, GCP, or AWS and practical knowledge of Docker, containerization, and container orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service and the ability to manage basic containerized environments.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows Server administration; Windows Server 2016 is preferred.
- Competence with Azure VPN, ExpressRoute, and Cloud Service Routers.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle DB and MS SQL Server.
- Good understanding of ITIL, ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk, and knowledge management tools.
- Fluency in English and Japanese.
