Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automation and shared tooling within Cloud Operations.
- Lead event, incident, case, problem, and service-request management for IFS Cloud services.
- Support the security, latency, performance, efficiency, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning of cloud services.
- Triage, resolve, escalate, and own issues through closure in collaboration with resolver groups and customers.
- Administer cloud platforms, operating systems, containers, networking, and databases.
- Contribute to knowledge management, standard operating procedures, documentation improvements, training, and mentoring.
- Communicate proactively with customers and internal resolver groups regarding issue resolution.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of IFS products, architecture, industry solutions, product versions, support policies, and scope.
- Working knowledge of Azure, GCP, or AWS and the ability to perform standard cloud tasks and configurations.
- Practical knowledge of Docker, containerization, and container orchestration tools.
- Proficiency administering Linux/Unix and Windows Server; Windows Server 2016 is preferred.
- Competence with Azure VPN, ExpressRoute, and Cloud Service Routers.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Scripting experience in at least two of Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible.
- Understanding of ITIL, ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk, and knowledge management tools.
- Understanding of information security concepts including authentication, access controls, and encryption.
- Fluency in English and Japanese is required.
