Responsibilities
- Take technical responsibility for the development and support of generative AI demonstrators for business development.
- Research current generative AI trends and experiment with new tools and technologies.
- Lead or contribute to projects involving technical steering and quality assurance in data science and prompt engineering.
- Design and deliver internal training sessions and support continuous team development.
- Attend relevant conferences, give presentations, and represent the company as a generative AI expert.
- Support the sales team during customer acquisition with technical solution pitches.
- Create architecture diagrams for generative AI solutions.
Requirements
- Completed degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or a natural sciences field.
- Experience developing generative AI models and applying them in real-world projects.
- Very good coding and software development skills, including object-oriented Python.
- Strong knowledge of Azure, AWS, the OpenAI API, the Aleph Alpha API, and Hugging Face.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Fluent German and English communication skills, willingness to travel for consulting work, and enthusiasm for continuous learning.
- Ideally, experience with probabilistic modeling, text processing and NLP, transformers, conversational AI, Stable Diffusion, hardware accelerators, physical computing, local open-source foundation models, and fine-tuning.
