Responsibilities
- Define, standardize, maintain, and continuously improve test automation frameworks and coding guidelines across Archiving Technology.
- Develop automation for UI, API, database, functional, non-functional, and performance testing layers.
- Create automated test dashboards and analyze results to identify improvement opportunities.
- Define non-functional risk and performance-testing approaches in line with the Bank’s monitoring standards.
- Coach and mentor junior Quality Engineers on test automation.
- Share test automation approaches and solutions through demonstrations and knowledge sharing.
- Integrate test automation with CI/CD and DevOps tooling.
Requirements
- Significant experience defining and implementing test automation strategies in large IT organizations, ideally in an Agile environment using CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Thorough understanding of TDD and BDD techniques, including Gherkin and Cucumber syntax.
- Understanding of Page Object Model, Factory, Façade, and Singleton design patterns.
- Significant experience with Selenium, Serenity, TestNG, JUnit, LoadRunner or Performance Centre, JMeter, Jenkins, and TeamCity.
- Experience defining non-functional requirements and developing performance-testing automation frameworks.
- Good working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint Online, O365, and ServiceNow.
- Ability to use AI tools productively and responsibly while applying critical judgment to data and AI outputs.
