Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and actively contribute to web and mobile application development.
- Own understanding of the full system and teach that understanding to other team members.
- Contribute to technical strategy and architectural decisions supporting service growth.
- Improve system robustness, resilience, and stability.
- Provide technical support and mentoring to junior developers.
- Introduce new technologies and tooling into existing systems and processes.
Requirements
- Commercial experience developing full-stack JavaScript and .NET applications using Node.js or .NET Core and Web API.
- Commercial experience developing web applications in containerized environments, particularly with Docker.
- Commercial experience working with content management systems.
- Demonstrable experience architecting web-based solutions and introducing new technologies and tooling.
- Experience designing and developing applications using databases such as Postgres, MongoDB, and MSSQL.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as ReactJS, VueJS, AngularJS, and MVC.
- Experience supporting and mentoring junior developers on technical queries and best practices.
- Desirable experience with Mesos/Marathon, Kubernetes, ReactJS component libraries, CI/CD frameworks and build pipelines, mobile application frameworks, AWS Lambda, Jamstack, PHP, WordPress, AWS, or Azure.
- Excellent communication skills and a self-motivated, delivery-focused approach.
- Good understanding of Agile processes.
