Responsibilities
- Define architecture strategies, target-state roadmaps, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Design enterprise-scale solutions using cloud-native, microservices, API-first, and event-driven architectures.
- Lead architecture assessments, fit-gap analyses, and modernization initiatives.
- Establish integration patterns using APIs, middleware, messaging platforms, and event streaming technologies.
- Partner with engineering teams on DevSecOps, CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes, observability, and reliability practices.
- Collaborate with security teams on secure-by-design principles, identity management, and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate AI/GenAI capabilities and define reusable enterprise architecture patterns.
- Mentor architects and engineers and influence enterprise technology direction and governance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Software Engineering, or related technology leadership roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale distributed applications in complex environments.
- Expertise in enterprise application architecture and solution design across multiple business domains.
- Hands-on cloud architecture experience, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
- Strong experience with microservices architecture, API architecture, and integration patterns.
- Experience with architecture governance, standards development, and enterprise technology roadmaps.
- Ability to communicate architecture decisions, risks, and tradeoffs to technical and business stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with event-driven and composable architecture, data architecture, security architecture, IAM, Zero Trust, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, automated deployment, performance engineering, scalability, resiliency, AI/GenAI integration, observability, SRE, monitoring, logging, and operational excellence.
