Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement MCU features for low-power AR glasses.
- Transform MCU code to support migration across MCUs, RTOSs, and peripherals.
- Optimize system power, thermal, and memory efficiency.
- Bring up new systems and build next-generation smart glasses.
- Work closely with BSP, Electrical Engineering, and phone teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor ’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in C++.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and 1 year of software design and architecture experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with embedded systems and firmware programming.
- Experience with real-time embedded programming for microcontrollers.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: Experience with Pigweed, Zephyr, real-time operating systems such as FreeRTOS, modern build systems such as Bazel or CMake, hardware debugging, Electrical Engineering collaboration, datasheets and reference manuals, and taking consumer electronics to production.
