Responsibilities
- Design, execute, automate, and deploy long-running, scale, reliability, performance, and security test cases.
- Build large-scale test harnesses and simulation tools for cloud traffic, high concurrency, microservices, and failure scenarios.
- Develop automated multi-stage CI/CD test pipelines and infrastructure-as-code environments for parallel execution.
- Conduct performance profiling, track system metrics, and isolate bottlenecks in distributed architectures.
- Execute chaos engineering and fault-injection experiments to validate recovery and high availability.
- Own the automation strategy and build reusable automation libraries and test frameworks.
- Guide functional QA teams and collaborate with product management, customer support, platform engineering, and other engineering teams.
- Investigate defects, perform root-cause analysis, recommend corrective and preventative actions, and report test results.
- Maintain product configurations and provide guidance and mentoring to new hires.
- Integrate AI platforms and tools into operational workflows and software development processes.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the complete SDLC, software testing methodologies, test strategy, test planning, and test execution.
- Strong automation experience, including ownership of automation strategy and test framework development.
- At least 7–10 years of relevant experience developing and supporting automation test frameworks from the ground up.
- Proficiency programming in Python, Java, or Go, with experience using Selenium.
- Experience with cloud platforms, Docker, microservices, containerization, Kubernetes, scale and performance testing, and AI agents or AI skill development.
- Experience with UI and API automation, web applications, SQL and NoSQL databases, XML, and JSON.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Allure Reporting, Linux, and virtual machine environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, stakeholder-management, communication, and defect-investigation skills.
- Experience integrating AI platforms into operational workflows and using generative tools to improve productivity and data-driven decision-making.
