Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements and research into performant, stable technology solutions.
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications from web UI through application services using the .NET stack.
- Perform systems administration tasks including monitoring, configuration, backup, authentication, and tuning.
- Write quality code, conduct peer reviews, support testing cycles and post-production deployments, and complete unit and integration testing.
- Troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, maintain processes, and communicate risks and incidents to stakeholders.
- Design, develop, implement, and support solutions for internal clients within regulated technology delivery processes.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, status reporting, scope assessment, risk analysis, and cost analysis.
- Support incident management, state-of-health monitoring, and monthly SLA targets.
- Guide team members, coach clients and project teams, and provide technical leadership as a subject matter expert.
- Develop understanding of market risk management and banking processes while collaborating with technical and non-technical partners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on C# programming experience.
- An undergraduate degree or technical certificate.
- Experience with C#, .NET, SQL Server, T-SQL, and SSRS.
- Web UI knowledge or experience; UI/UX skills are a bonus.
- Readiness to resolve highly complex and multifaceted development issues independently as a senior or lead developer.
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience with middleware such as MQ or caching, Azure or Google Cloud, multi-server cloud infrastructure, and Git-based CI/CD pipeline fundamentals is useful.
- Interest-rate derivatives technology experience, interest-rate derivatives knowledge, and broader financial experience are strong assets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, take initiative, manage time effectively, learn quickly, and communicate clearly.
- Commitment to quality deliverables, proactive ownership, and coaching or advising clients, partners, and project teams.
