Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements and research into performant technology solutions.
- Build and maintain full-stack applications from web UI through application services using the .NET stack.
- Configure, monitor, back up, authenticate, tune, and support systems and applications.
- Write quality code, conduct peer reviews, and complete unit and integration testing.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform enhancements, support testing and production deployments, and participate in incident management.
- Design and implement solutions through regulated delivery processes and provide post-implementation support.
- Contribute to project plans, estimates, status updates, scope assessments, risk analysis, and cost analysis.
- Monitor application health and service-level targets and communicate outages and impacts to stakeholders.
- Play a technical leadership role, guide team members, and coach clients, partners, and project teams.
- Develop understanding of market-risk processes and the banking and capital-markets business.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or technical certificate, with relevant experience and knowledge also considered.
- 5+ years of hands-on C# programming experience.
- Experience with C#, .NET, SQL Server, T-SQL, and SSRS.
- Web UI knowledge or experience; UI/UX skills are a bonus.
- Middleware exposure such as MQ or caching is useful.
- Azure or Google Cloud knowledge or experience is useful.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline fundamentals and Git.
- Experience with multi-server cloud infrastructure.
- Interest-rate derivatives technology experience and knowledge are strong assets.
- Ability to independently resolve highly complex, multifaceted development issues and serve as a senior or lead developer and subject-matter expert.
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, take initiative, manage time effectively, and learn new technologies quickly.
- Financial-services experience is a strong asset.
