Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on architecture and implementation of Python frameworks for scalable, resilient, and high-performance applications.
- Develop solutions for stress testing and regulatory risk projects within the market risk domain.
- Design, develop, secure, and integrate APIs and distributed applications using established architectural standards.
- Own technical planning, governance, project execution, and delivery of initiatives in a globally matrixed environment.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to software quality, automated testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with Risk, Quantitative, Front Office, DevOps, and Production Support teams.
- Apply quantitative computation, risk methodologies, and emerging generative AI and agentic AI capabilities in software development.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on application development experience, primarily with Python.
- Expert proficiency in Python 3.x and advanced knowledge of FastAPI, Django, Flask, object-oriented programming, software architecture, and distributed system design.
- Extensive experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, and advanced SQL.
- Experience with CI/CD systems including Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Strong background with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and Unix-based operating systems.
- Proficiency with Pytest, unittest, Git, Bitbucket, and GitHub, plus secure coding and application security principles including OWASP Top 10.
- Experience developing quantitative or calculation-intensive Python solutions and understanding risk methodologies, mathematical modeling, or finance.
- Exposure to TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, AI-assisted development tools, agentic AI frameworks, and generative AI concepts.
- Bachelor’s or university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience with Java, Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, data warehousing, React, Angular, or Vue.js is desirable.
- Banking or pricing and risk experience, CFA or FRM certification, and relevant cloud or industry certifications are desirable.
- Experience with Gemini, OpenAI, Claude, Llama, local models, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, LangGraph, multi-agent systems, retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, workflow design, and generative AI optimization is desirable.
