Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical design and development of enterprise-scale Java applications.
- Own solution architecture for modules and domains, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Drive modernization initiatives including monolith-to-microservices transitions and cloud adoption.
- Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Review architecture, code, and designs for quality and maintainability.
- Mentor and guide engineers and strengthen technical capabilities within teams.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, DevOps, QA, and product teams to support integration and delivery.
- Act as the technical escalation point for complex issues and production challenges.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of hands-on experience in Java-based development.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead in enterprise systems.
- Strong experience in product development and modernization programs.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, distributed system design, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
- Working knowledge of Angular or React.
- Experience with performance tuning, JVM optimization, system reliability, Docker, cloud platforms, event-driven architectures, messaging systems, and container orchestration such as AKS or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, monitoring, observability tools, domain-driven design, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Very good English communication skills, structured writing ability, analytical problem-solving skills, flexibility, and demonstrated teamwork.
