Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and operate Momentum capabilities covering meeting capture, recording, transcript processing, insight generation, and customer-facing experiences.
- Develop reliable backend services, APIs, and event-driven workflows for enterprise-scale, multi-tenant environments.
- Contribute to frontend experiences using modern JavaScript and component-based frameworks, including Lightning Web Components where applicable.
- Process high-volume conversation, recording, transcript, and insight data securely and efficiently.
- Design for security, privacy, compliance, data residency, observability, and operational readiness.
- Apply test-driven development and contribute to unit, integration, functional, performance, and end-to-end test coverage.
- Use CI/CD tooling and modern engineering practices to deliver production-grade software safely.
- Monitor production behavior, diagnose distributed-system failures, and improve reliability and supportability.
- Participate in architecture and code reviews, including evaluation of human- and AI-generated code for correctness, maintainability, security, accessibility, and performance.
- Use AI development tools to improve development velocity, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Create architecture decisions, operational constraints, coding standards, and runbooks for engineers and AI-assisted workflows.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Security, Privacy, Site Reliability, and partner engineering teams.
Requirements
- A related technical degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
- 8+ years of backend software development experience are required.
- Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming languages including Java, C++, Go, C#, Ruby, Scala, Python, Node.js, or JavaScript.
- Broad knowledge of API-related web standards and technologies including REST, SOAP, XML, WSDL, HTTP, and JSON.
- Experience with Spring, gRPC, REST, and the HTTP protocol.
- Experience with Agile development methodology.
- An AI-first engineering approach and experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor.
- Advanced prompt engineering skills, including writing precise structured prompts and cultivating system context for reliable, secure, production-ready AI outputs.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Preferred experience includes conversation intelligence, audio or video recording, transcription, media processing, or meeting-platform integrations.
