Responsibilities
- Build and maintain GitOps-based delivery pipelines using ArgoCD.
- Design and evolve self-service platform tooling, golden paths, deployment templates, and scaffolding.
- Implement deployment safety guardrails covering configuration diffing, change ownership, rollout strategies, and audit trails.
- Use AI tools and agentic workflows to accelerate development, automation, and operational delivery.
- Mentor and develop engineers and conduct technical interviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.
- Production-grade Kubernetes experience, including EKS or GKE, GitOps with ArgoCD or Flux, service mesh, multi-tenant cluster operations, and resource management.
- Hands-on GitOps and CI/CD experience with ArgoCD or Flux, Kustomize or Helm, rollout strategies, deployment safety, change ownership, and audit trails.
- Deep AWS platform experience with EC2, EKS, S3, CloudFront, IAM/IRSA, VPC networking, RDS, and cost optimization.
- Platform engineering orientation focused on self-service platforms rather than one-off scripts or manual runbooks.
- Fluency with AI tools for development and operations.
- Strong ownership and communication skills, including translating infrastructure complexity into business impact.
- People leadership skills, including mentoring, engineer development, and technical interviewing.
- Desirable experience with GCP, GKE, GCS, Cloud Run, hybrid multi-cloud operations, HLS, RTMP, CDN optimization, live video pipelines, FinOps, cost attribution, right-sizing, storage lifecycle policies, Python, Go, or Node.js.
