Responsibilities
- Build and maintain GitOps-based delivery pipelines using ArgoCD.
- Design self-service platform tooling, golden paths, deployment templates, and scaffolding for product teams.
- Implement deployment safety guardrails, including configuration diffing, change ownership, rollout strategies, and audit trails.
- Operate and improve Kubernetes, cloud, CI/CD, and platform infrastructure for reliability and scalability.
- Use AI tools and agentic workflows to accelerate development, automation, and operational delivery.
- Mentor and develop engineers and conduct technical interviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.
- Production-grade Kubernetes experience, including EKS or GKE, GitOps, service mesh, multi-tenant cluster operations, and resource management.
- Deep hands-on experience with GitOps and CI/CD, including ArgoCD or Flux, Kustomize or Helm, rollout strategies, deployment safety, change ownership, and audit trails.
- Strong AWS platform experience with EC2, EKS, S3, CloudFront, IAM/IRSA, VPC networking, RDS, and cost optimization.
- Platform engineering orientation focused on self-service platforms rather than one-off scripts or manual runbooks.
- Fluency using AI tools to accelerate development and operations.
- Ability to own outcomes end-to-end and translate infrastructure complexity into business impact.
- People leadership skills, including mentoring, engineer development, and technical interviewing.
- GCP or hybrid multi-cloud operations experience is desirable.
- Video streaming infrastructure experience with HLS, RTMP, CDN optimization, or live video pipelines is desirable.
- FinOps and cost optimization experience is desirable.
- Development experience with Python, Go, Node.js, or similar is desirable.
