Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive automation and CI/CD pipelines in the customer environment.
- Coordinate with development teams to ensure pipeline tools are available and correctly configured.
- Provide technical guidance and industry best practices to systems engineering, architecture, product management, and application development teams.
- Support requirements analysis, technical design, system integration, implementation, and deployment across the product lifecycle.
- Lead DevSecOps activities including vulnerability scanning, certificate management, password policy management, security monitoring analysis, remediation patching, and security compliance efforts.
- Develop automated security frameworks using scripting languages and open-source solutions.
- Analyze vulnerability data, identify security risks and false positives, prepare risk reports, and coordinate remediation within established timeframes.
- Configure and use computer security and networking diagnostic and monitoring tools, resolve production issues, and provide occasional after-hours or on-call support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or a high school diploma with 5+ years of experience in at least two areas including software development, configuration control, testing, security, automation, or cloud-service orchestration.
- Hands-on experience implementing and working with DevSecOps tools and toolchains.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with current CI Poly.
- Valid state operator’s license.
- Working knowledge of Git, Jira, Jenkins, JMeter, and other Agile CI/CD and project management tools is preferred.
- Experience working with Developers, DevOps, and Engineering teams to promote and implement a DevOps program.
- Experience configuring, implementing, and leveraging computer security and networking diagnostic or monitoring tools.
- Strong technical, analytical, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage tight deadlines and ambiguity, and occasionally work after hours or on call.
- Successful completion of background and drug screening.
