Responsibilities
- Own architecture for Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid Active Directory environments.
- Design authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle, Conditional Access, passwordless, MFA, federation, and privileged access architectures.
- Lead modernization from legacy identity patterns to cloud-native, Zero Trust-aligned identity models.
- Define Tier-0 identity security architecture, including admin isolation, PAWs, break-glass models, PIM, and just-in-time access.
- Drive infrastructure-as-code and Graph automation for identity using Terraform and Bicep.
- Establish reliability, failure-isolation, service-resiliency, observability, metrics, and alerting patterns.
- Act as design authority, review designs, mentor senior engineers, and influence IAM roadmaps and long-term identity strategy.
Requirements
- 15+ years of IAM experience.
- Deep Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory expertise.
- Proven experience architecting large-scale hybrid identity platforms.
- Deep expertise in Conditional Access, Identity Protection, MFA, passwordless authentication, federation using SAML/OIDC/OAuth, and privileged access models.
- Strong automation and engineering mindset with the ability to operate at both whiteboard and code level.
