Base Salary

$70k - $119k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, debug, and implement software enhancements, applications, and projects for Transaction Services platforms.
  • Build multi-tier solutions using Java, SQL, Spring Boot, ReactJS or equivalent frameworks, and cloud computing technologies.
  • Write unit and automation tests and participate in code reviews.
  • Participate in Scrum activities including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Triage production issues by reviewing code and logs and developing solutions.
  • Analyze business requirements and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver solutions.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of commercial software development experience.
  • Extensive Java n-tier application experience and proficiency developing multi-tier solutions.
  • Professional Java development experience, including core Java and multithreading.
  • Experience with or knowledge of ReactJS or equivalent frameworks, SQL, cloud computing, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Azure or AWS.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and Agile software development is desired.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and responsible work style.
  • Ability to gather and understand requirements in the financial sector; a mathematics background is highly desirable.
