Responsibilities
- Build solutions and tools for next-generation platforms for autonomous vehicles.
- Collaborate with researchers, software developers, and internal multidisciplinary teams to advance automotive innovation.
- Contribute to project work in areas such as positioning, perception, planning, sensor fusion, SLAM, motion planning, robotics, embedded software, and systems engineering.
- Support development of automotive technologies and software for ADAS, autonomous driving, and related platforms.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. program in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Must be available for 11–14 weeks during Summer 2027, from May through September.
- Expected graduation date must be November 2027 or later.
- At least 1 year of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
- Preferred candidates are enrolled in a master's or Ph.D. program and anticipate graduating between November 2027 and June 2028.
- Preferred experience includes positioning, perception, or planning in ADAS, autonomy, or autonomous driving.
- Preferred knowledge includes functional safety, ASPICE, ASIL, ISO 26262, MISRA C++, AUTOSAR C++, ROS/ROS2, DDS, Adaptive AUTOSAR, robotics, autonomous driving, lidar, scene segmentation, object detection, sensor fusion, SLAM, and motion planning.
- Preferred experience includes embedded driver development, operating-system and multiprocessor concepts, multi-task learning networks, SysML, systems engineering, MBSE, system modeling, model-based development, safety analysis, DFMEA, and FMEDA.
- Preferred familiarity includes UML, UML-RT, MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, and Sparx Enterprise Architect.
- Preferred programming experience includes C, C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, Java, and Shell.
