Base Salary
$175k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain security platforms and services to protect data across various environments.
- Develop scalable solutions for data discovery, classification, governance, and access controls.
- Build and mature capabilities around data protection technologies to mitigate unauthorized access risks.
- Implement and tune DLP controls across multiple environments to prevent data security incidents.
- Drive automation in DLP engineering using AI and automation-first approaches.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enable secure productivity while maintaining data protection.
- Assess data architectures and security configurations to promote secure-by-design principles.
- Continuously identify opportunities to leverage AI and modern engineering practices for data security.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
- Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or similar fields.
- Strong software engineering mindset with experience in building production-grade tools.
- Proven ability to create scalable internal solutions rather than relying on commercial tools.
- Experience with data protection technologies like DLP, SIEM, and insider threat platforms.
- Strong understanding of data security principles including classification and governance.
- Hands-on experience securing SaaS platforms and cloud environments.
- Experience leveraging AI for data protection and security workflows.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
