Base Salary
$105k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build core infrastructure and foundational functionalities.
- Collaborate with machine learning, product, and frontend teams to influence the infrastructure roadmap.
- Enhance observability and reliability of systems through distributed logging and monitoring.
- Define methodologies to measure performance and identify bottlenecks in microservices.
- Deliver deadline-sensitive work that is interdependent with other engineering teams.
Requirements
- Experience designing and maintaining backend distributed systems.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Golang, Java, or C++.
- Experience with containers and cloud infrastructure like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Knowledge of open source technologies like Kafka and Elasticsearch.
- Desire to work in a startup environment with a high degree of ownership.
- Experience in performance optimization and monitoring.
- Strong motivation and a desire for continuous learning.
- BS+ in computer science or a related field.
