Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate scalable AI data systems and core platform services for enterprise GenAI and agentic AI capabilities.
- Develop and orchestrate scalable batch and streaming data pipelines for manufacturing operations.
- Provision and maintain cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code environments.
- Enable manufacturing workflow automation through AI agents and agent skills.
- Apply AI-assisted coding tools while reviewing, validating, and improving generated code.
- Translate complex user workflows into practical technical solutions and collaborate across teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
- Lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience designing and building scalable data platforms and distributed systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; proficiency in Java or Scala is preferred.
- Experience with Airflow, Kubeflow, or MLflow for scalable AI data pipeline orchestration.
- Experience building batch and streaming pipelines using Spark, PySpark, Kafka, Airflow, and Ray.
- Proficiency with Pandas and modern data lake or lakehouse architectures such as Iceberg and Delta Lake.
- Knowledge of RAG architectures, embedding generation, vector databases, and AI data preparation for LLMs and agentic AI.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience or strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, agentic systems, or RAG workflows is preferred.
- Experience integrating LLMs into existing systems and designing APIs is preferred.
- Experience with manufacturing, operational, IoT, or industrial data platforms is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, technical leadership, and mentoring abilities.
