Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end features for internal Operations and Supply Chain web applications from requirements clarification through production support.
- Own enterprise applications and drive architecture, technical debt reduction, maintainability, performance, reliability, security, and long-term application health.
- Build high-performance Blazor and DevExpress UIs for data-heavy screens, complex filtering, editing workflows, and large datasets.
- Design and implement C#/.NET backend services, APIs, validation, error handling, asynchronous processing, and secure integrations.
- Develop and optimize Azure SQL and SQL Server data access, including query performance, indexing, pagination, streaming, and troubleshooting.
- Support .NET applications hosted in Azure, including configuration, deployment, monitoring, scaling, troubleshooting, and production operations.
- Improve observability and reliability through structured logging, telemetry, monitoring, alerting, and incident troubleshooting.
- Participate in CI/CD delivery across development, QA, and production environments, including validation, configuration, release troubleshooting, and rollback planning.
- Write clean, secure, testable code; conduct code reviews; improve engineering patterns; and uphold technical standards.
- Provide technical direction, mentoring, design reviews, troubleshooting assistance, and implementation guidance to other developers.
- Partner with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Finance, Product Management, and technical stakeholders to turn ambiguous needs into technical designs and delivery plans.
- Lead reusable components, architecture patterns, engineering standards, and technical practices across multiple applications.
Requirements
- A university degree or equivalent experience plus at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field plus at least 5 years of experience.
- Strong proficiency in C#/.NET and service-oriented backend logic, APIs, and enterprise application services.
- Hands-on Blazor experience or comparable modern SPA/component framework experience with the ability to ramp up in Blazor.
- Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, or equivalent relational databases, including data-driven application development and slow-query optimization.
- Experience developing and operating cloud-hosted applications, preferably in Azure, including hosting, configuration, secrets, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Git workflows, pull requests, code reviews, testing, documentation, secure coding, and source-control standards.
- Ability to independently own complex technical work, lead solution design, resolve issues, and provide technical direction while remaining hands-on.
- Ability to troubleshoot across UI, application services, databases, integrations, and hosting environments.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with DevExpress Blazor, including DxGrid, editors, forms, reporting, customization, and large-dataset performance tuning.
- Preferred experience with Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Storage, Functions, Key Vault, managed identities, networking, security, observability, and deployment patterns.
- Experience with Application Insights, Log Analytics, metrics, distributed traces, dashboards, alerts, and production incident triage.
- Experience with Entra ID/Azure AD, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, PingFederate, RBAC, claims-based authorization, and enterprise authentication.
- Experience with Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Service Bus, Logic Apps, scheduled processing, background workloads, or similar integration technologies.
- Experience with Hangfire, Azure Functions, queues, scheduled jobs, server-side paging, virtualization, caching, deduplication, and layered performance diagnosis.
- JavaScript and TypeScript experience, including Blazor JavaScript interop.
- Experience developing reusable components, shared libraries, architecture patterns, coding standards, and technical guidance across teams.
- Previous technical leadership experience involving architecture reviews, mentoring, code reviews, engineering standards, troubleshooting, and technical direction.
- Familiarity with Docker, Azure Container Apps, or Kubernetes/AKS is beneficial but not required.
- Familiarity with Azure OpenAI/OpenAI integrations, AI-assisted development, responsible AI, prompt/application security, and AI quality and cost monitoring is beneficial.
