Base Salary
$307k - $427k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of global fleet-planning systems and define a multi-year roadmap to deliver substantially greater data center capacity.
- Partner across AI and Infrastructure organizations to define a unified capacity-management product suite for AI training and inference customers.
- Integrate AI/ML, operations research, and advanced mathematical optimization into capacity-planning workflows.
- Guide a full-stack team through complex distributed-systems and infrastructure challenges.
- Make high-stakes architectural decisions and establish the technological direction for planet-scale capacity delivery.
- Reduce capacity cycle times, eliminate stranded capacity, and maximize utilization of deployed data center resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience delivering large-scale capacity planning, IaaS/PaaS solutions, or fleet management systems.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related field such as Networking or Security Systems.
- Preferred: Experience architecting, leading, and delivering large-scale transformations from concept through deployment.
- Preferred: Deep understanding of AI/ML infrastructure demands, including TPU/GPU topologies and accelerators.
- Preferred: Understanding of current AI/ML capabilities and experience upskilling teams and integrating AI-driven solutions.
- Ability to influence and lead without direct authority across Hardware, Software, Supply Chain, and Product Management teams.
