Responsibilities
- Develop tools and infrastructure platforms for Ethernovia’s engineering team.
- Develop software for evaluation platforms used to debug, test, and demonstrate networking devices.
- Build board support packages, onboard-device drivers, and middleware software.
- Create tools to process large volumes of test data and visualize results through command-line and graphical tools.
- Integrate and test open-source middleware, libraries, and drivers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software, or a related field.
- Three years of work experience for the mid-level position or seven years for the senior-level position.
- Proficiency in C/C++; Python experience is a plus.
- Experience with board support packages, preferably on Linux systems such as BeagleBone or Raspberry Pi.
- Experience developing device drivers for hardware buses such as I2C, SPI, and Ethernet.
- Understanding of operating systems, preferably Embedded Linux.
- Experience integrating and testing open-source middleware, libraries, and drivers.
- Hands-on experience with hardware and embedded processors.
- Experience with compilers, debugging suites, embedded programming, version control and review tools, Jenkins, ARM processors, communication-device performance testing, RPC software, or boot code is beneficial.
- SystemVerilog, Verilog, UVM, SystemC, and transaction-level modeling experience is a plus.
- Strong software development lifecycle, architecture, implementation, and testing fundamentals.
- Self-motivated collaboration, communication, documentation, and attention to detail.
