Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated API, integration, and end-to-end test strategies.
- Build and maintain Python-based automation frameworks and integrate tests into delivery pipelines.
- Validate cloud services, APIs, networking behaviors, distributed-system interactions, data consistency, authentication, and access control.
- Test deployment, upgrade, connectivity, long-running usage, failure handling, and system behavior under load and stress.
- Debug cloud, backend, and networking issues using logs and observability tools.
- Use AI tools to generate test cases, improve automation, evaluate outputs, and support debugging.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define quality standards and release criteria.
- Provide reproducible bug reports and drive QA process, automation coverage, and tooling improvements.
Requirements
- Proven ability to design and execute end-to-end test strategies for cloud or distributed systems.
- Strong hands-on Python experience for building automation frameworks and test tooling.
- Experience with Pytest, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLAN, and VPN.
- Ability to perform API and backend validation, including token, session, and OAuth authentication flows.
- Strong debugging skills across cloud services, networking, and backend systems.
- Practical experience using AI tools for test design, automation, and debugging workflows.
- Preferred experience with AWS infrastructure and services including EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM.
- Preferred experience with large-scale SaaS or distributed systems, Docker, Kubernetes, observability tools, OAuth, and SSO.
