Responsibilities
- Own and maintain test data strategies for various testing types.
- Create, curate, and validate high-quality test datasets.
- Ensure test data accuracy and alignment with business rules.
- Validate data extractions, transformations, and loads (ETL).
- Test and reconcile data for operational and regulatory reports.
- Design and execute test plans for data migrations and conversions.
- Use advanced SQL queries to validate data correctness.
- Act as a full participant in an Agile Scrum team.
- Create data-centric test plans and test cases.
- Document and communicate data defects clearly.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on data validation.
- Strong SQL skills for writing complex queries.
- Hands-on experience testing data extractions, reports, or ETL pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and defect management processes.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate data quality risks to stakeholders.
