Responsibilities
- Contribute to the firm’s technology vision and guide transformation across verticals.
- Create and review product architectural decisions.
- Own and drive technology innovation across the firm.
- Establish policies, tenets, and processes to guide technology transformation.
- Build frameworks and libraries that accelerate transformation.
- Lead teams building sophisticated, highly available, scalable, and reliable products on a cloud platform.
- Contribute ideas, designs, frameworks, policies, and processes to the Artifact Repository.
- Engage with the technology community through blogs and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Provide visible leadership within the technology community.
- Mentor Senior Engineers through guidance and coaching.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 12+ years of experience in the IT industry.
- Deep understanding of at least one programming language and good understanding of architectural principles and patterns.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience preparing business proposals covering benefits, drivers, and financial merits.
- Hands-on experience evaluating open-source frameworks, libraries, and tools through rapid prototyping.
- Experience delivering products with low- or no-touch support, applying SRE principles, and resolving scalability challenges in existing applications.
- Experience guiding and mentoring highly skilled engineers.
- Ability to oversee multiple technology initiatives and engagements concurrently.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and motivational skills.
