Base Salary
$191k - $253k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead systems engineering and algorithm development for space and missile defense tracking missions.
- Architect and implement advanced object tracking and state estimation algorithms.
- Design and evaluate multi-target tracking and multi-sensor fusion approaches.
- Implement advanced data association techniques including JPDA and MHT.
- Drive innovation in data association techniques for complex operational scenarios.
- Build physics-based models and conduct modeling and simulation to validate tracking performance.
- Lead performance analysis and simulation-based assessments of tracking robustness.
- Collaborate with and mentor software engineers to transition algorithms to production code.
- Drive the systems engineering lifecycle including requirements decomposition and design reviews.
- Lead technical documentation efforts and present at design reviews and customer engagements.
- Mentor engineers in tracking algorithm development and best practices.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert for tracking systems.
Requirements
- Active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in multi-target tracking algorithm development.
- Demonstrated technical leadership in tracking algorithm development.
- Deep expertise in state estimation techniques and multi-target tracking concepts.
- Proven experience in developing operational tracking algorithms.
- Expert proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python, with experience transitioning to C++.
- Extensive experience with modeling, simulation, and testing workflows.
- Strong collaborative skills with software and systems engineers.
- Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
