Base Salary
$93k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design for a multi-tenant reporting platform using AWS serverless technologies.
- Develop software with Python, TypeScript, SQL, Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, and other AWS services.
- Build AI-driven pipelines that extract, translate, and validate legacy business logic and report metadata.
- Define coding standards, development patterns, and best practices across the engineering team.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and conduct design and code reviews.
- Partner with Product, Data, QA, and Architecture teams to align technical and business requirements.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and frameworks for automation.
- Ensure scalability, security, tenant isolation, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with AWS or Azure serverless architectures.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
- Experience using AI for code generation, metadata extraction, or workflow automation.
- Strong SQL experience.
- Experience building or integrating AI-driven systems involving LLMs, embeddings, AI agents, or transformation pipelines.
- Experience with distributed systems, data pipelines, or legacy-platform modernization.
- Demonstrated technical strategy and engineering mentoring leadership.
- Preferred: experience designing or operating multi-tenant platforms.
- Preferred: strong knowledge of ETL/ELT architecture patterns.
- Preferred: strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Oracle experience is a plus.
