Base Salary
$191k - $258k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement core AI-SOC platform components, including data ingestion pipelines, query engines, investigation orchestration, and ML model integration layers.
- Own technical direction for complex cross-cutting problems and define scalable interfaces, data contracts, and system boundaries.
- Design infrastructure for training, serving, and evaluating ML/AI disposition models in partnership with ML/AI engineers.
- Establish engineering standards for system design, data modeling, testing, and observability.
- Lead design reviews and mentor senior and staff engineers.
- Resolve performance, reliability, and scalability bottlenecks across the distributed investigation pipeline.
- Collaborate with Product Management and cross-team platform and infrastructure groups on architectural decisions and technical requirements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of leading complex, high-scale distributed system design.
- Deep expertise in data systems, including stream processing, distributed query engines, data modeling, and storage systems.
- Working knowledge of ML/AI system design, including model serving infrastructure, feature pipelines, embedding systems, or LLM integration.
- Experience designing systems where correctness, latency, and throughput are critical.
- Experience owning ambiguous, cross-cutting technical problems and driving documented solutions.
- Experience in cloud-native environments, with AWS preferred, and strong command of infrastructure patterns for AI/ML workloads.
- Familiarity with security operations, detection engineering, or threat intelligence pipelines is a plus.
- Strong communication, documentation, mentorship, stakeholder alignment, and collaboration skills.
