Responsibilities
- Elicit client requirements and translate them into scalable, reliable code.
- Design, review, and implement third-party developer APIs and tools.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Human Interaction Design, Services, Engineering, and Data teams.
- Develop, launch, and maintain cross-platform features integrating Maps with the broader ecosystem.
- Partner with internal products and third-party developers to build mapping solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C.
- Proficiency with SwiftUI and/or UIKit.
- Familiarity with system architecture and API design.
- Software engineering experience in a production environment.
- A proven record of architecting, developing, releasing, and supporting critically important software components.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
- Preferred: Experience writing testable code and familiarity with unit testing frameworks.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems or other spatial visualization systems.
